Tasting notes
A very fine and elegant second wine from Duhart with blackcurrant and berry character. Medium body and silky tannins. A beauty. Mar 17, www.jamessuckling.com

The 2016 Moulin de Duhart is a blend of 79% Merlot and 21% Cabernet Sauvignon. It offers light brambly black fruit on the nose tinged with undergrowth aromas, nicely defined if not powerful. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, moderate depth with a touch of coarseness on the entry, but adorned with attractive tobacco and graphite notes on the finish. Probably an early-drinking Deuxième Vin, this should drink nicely almost from bottling. Apr 17, www.robertparker.com, Drink: 2019-2026 Apr 2017, www.robertparker.com, Drink: 2019-2026
This enjoyable wine has some attractive, ripe round fruit until those Pauillac tannins close in on the finish. This is a good Moulin, harvested through to 12th October. The blend is 79% Merlot and 21% Cabernet Sauvignon. Apr 2017, www.decanter.com, Drink: 2023-2040
