The 2016 Clos Floridène offers gorgeous aromatic complexity, pliant fruit and an alluring, welcoming personality to match. Rose petal, dried herbs, leather and smoke are all laced together in a racy, vinous Graves to enjoy over the next handful of years. The wine's balance and overall sense of harmony are notable.

The 2016 Clos Floridene has a medium garnet-purple color and nose of warm plums and cherries, herbs and earth. The palate is medium-bodied, vibrant, juicy and chewy with an herbal lift.
Racy and lively with some richness underneath. Very broad and flattering, though not a really long-distance runner perhaps. (JR)
The 2016 Clos Floridène is an attractive Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot blend from the Dubourdieu family's vineyards in Graves. Black cherry, smoke, bittersweet chocolate, licorice and dark spices are all pushed forward. The 2016 is a bit more tannic and less plush than it usually is, but it is attractive nonetheless.
