Tasting notes
The Monbousquet 2016 Blanc drifts slowly and sensuously from the glass with orange blossom, honeysuckle and yuzu zest scents over a core of lemon curd, white peaches and pineapple. Medium-bodied, the palate is packed with stone fruit and lemony flavors, with a racy backbone and satiny texture, finishing long and lively.

The white from this estate, the 2016 Blanc d'Exception is a medium-bodied, clean, pretty white that’s about as gulpable as it gets. Classy notes of lemon, salted melon, and a touch of flowers all define the bouquet, and it should drink nicely for 2-4 years.
The 2016 Monbousquet Blanc has an attractive bouquet of Golden Delicious apple, beeswax and touches of pressed flowers. The palate is well balanced and quite saline in the mouth, with crisp acidity and a brisk, slightly chalky finish. White peach lingers on the aftertaste. Enjoy this over the next five years.
This is fruity and exotic with key limes and mangoes. Full body, some phenolic texture and a long and flavorful finish. Mostly sauvignon blanc and sauvignon gris with hints of muscadelle and semillon.
