The berry and sweet-tobacco aromas are very pretty. It shows full body, firm and silky tannins and a fresh, tangy finish. Drink after 2020.

The 2014 Château la Garricq offers attractive blackberry and raspberry fruit on the nose, the oak neatly integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with edgy tannin and this just feels a little attenuated towards the finish when I would be looking for more depth.
