Tasting notes
Argiano's Rosso di Montalcino is terrific in 2015. Sweet tobacco, licorice, mint, dried cherry, game, tobacco and crushed leaves give the 2015 lovely aromatic complexity to match its mid-weight personality. Pliant and silky with lovely balance, the 2015 is impeccably done.

The 2015 Rosso di Montalcino offers zesty and focused aromas that are absolutely specific to Sangiovese. The wine's varietal purity sings loudest with singular tones of cherry, grilled herb, licorice and medicinal herb. The wine's mid-weight texture is soothing, accessible and food friendly.
Maturing mid ruby with bricky rim. Subdued cherry with hints of leather. Same subdued cherry fruit on the palate that peters out on the tannic finish. Brett problem? (WS)
