Score 87-89/100 · Drink 2019-2027, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2016

The 2015 Gevrey Chambertin Etelois comprises of three barrels this year, one of them new. It has a composed bouquet with brambly red berry fruit, hints of undergrowth and a tree bark-like scent that lends a soupçon of rusticity. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe tannin, still with some new oak to be absorbed, but there is just about enough substance on the finish. Give this 1-2 years in bottle before broaching.
