Score 89-91/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Jun 2016
Bright yellow-green. Complex scents of white peach, candied lime, ginger, licorice and flinty minerality, with suggestions of black and white pepper. The white pepper note carries through on the palate, which offers a hint of baked bread and lovely lemon-zest lift. Finishes savory and bracing. Pernot ages this wine, the Garenne and the grand crus in about 35% new oak.
