The single-vineyard Garnacha 2014 Las Iruelas was produced with grapes from a 1.5-hectare plot of old vines in the village of El Tiemblo in the province of Ávila within the geographical zone of the Gredos Mountains at some 1,000 meters altitude. This is always a perfumed, open, showy, heady and aromatic wine. The palate is super elegant, with very fine tannins and also dusty, with some herbal notes that add freshness. This is always an ethereal wine, with great freshness, fluid and long, certainly lifted by the subdued minerality. 964 bottles were filled in June 2016. Not all the grapes from the vineyard are used for the wine, and there was a severe selection because they got some hail. (June 2017)

Aromas of smoked meat, dark berry and shiitake mushroom follow through to a full body, dense and rich palate. Long and chewy finish. A powerful and structured garnacha. Drink in 2020 and onwards.
