Tasting notes
Healthy dark red. Ripe red raspberry and redcurrant aromas convey an almost jammy quality but also an impression of energy. Rich, broad and thick but juicy too, with an enticing candied fruit character and noteworthy mineral verve. Not a particularly roasted style of 2015, this wine boasts good verve and backbone. But today its big, ripe tannins take over the palate on the lingering finish.

The 2015 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers was showing some reduction on the nose, a mixture of red and black fruit, but broody and introspective for the time being. The palate is medium-bodied with a chewy texture on the entry. This feels bold and assertive, though there is impressive depth. The only caveat is that I would like to see more terroir expression develop on the finish, but otherwise, a good show.
Healthy dark red. Reduced nose dominated by strawberry. Sweeter and fatter on the palate, with a strong raspberry flavor, but this wine also displays a pungent pomegranate quality and good stony energy throughout. Finishes perfumed and long, with lingering notes of licorice and flowers and firm tannins that reach the front teeth. Arlaud vinified this wine with a small percentage of whole clusters.
