Tasting notes
The 2014 Legacy Cabernet Sauvignon has a clean, quite intense blackberry, cedar and incense bouquet that lacks the delineation and personality that would have distinguished it from its peers. The palate is chewy on the entry, quite sweet and actually easy-drinking in style, thanks to its velvety-smooth texture. There are touches of mocha and clove towards the finish, completing a quite delicious but nowhere near profound Cabernet Sauvignon.

The medium-bodied 2014 Legacy Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant wine, decidedly not a high-octane powerhouse. Cedar and vanilla notes frame cassis and mint, and while this wine is intensely flavored and shows excellent length, it's also restrained and classy from start to finish. It's approachable now but should evolve positively for a decade or more.
