2015 Legacy Hawkes Bay Chardonnay

There is a notable struck match/sulfide character that dominates the nose of the 2015 Legacy Series Chardonnay to begin, leading to notes of lemon curd and orange blossoms, plus a cedar and toast undercurrent. Likewise, the sulfides somewhat overpower the palate, with some pretty, delicate fruit beneath, plus a satiny texture and good length to its credit. I worry about those sulfides though--it will be a great wine if they calm down and marry into the fruit.
