Tasting notes
(tasted from tank): Pale yellow with a green tinge. Distinctly citric aromas of lemon, lime and white flowers. Very fresh and penetrating, showing excellent density leavened by terrific lift; boasts superb limestone intensity. A subtle salinity carries through to the almost painful palate-staining finish. A real outperformer for its appellation

Luscious floral notes. Rather arresting! Very demanding. Cool and clean on the end. Bone dry and grapefruit notes. (JR)
The 2015 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Les Frionnes has a complex bouquet with hints of white flowers intermingling with the citrus and stony aromas. The palate is fresh and crisp on the entry, the acidity very nicely judged here and lending wonderful harmony and focus. It gently fans out on the finish with hints of greengage and citrus peel, completing a superb Saint-Aubin from Olivier Lamy. This comes recommended.
