Tasting notes
Really zesty citrus with a cedar edge. Impressive intensity at village level. Tight and long and mouth-watering. (JH)

The 2015 Chassagne-Montrachet Village has a crisp, tightly wound bouquet with subtle hazelnut scents coming through with time. The palate is medium-bodied with a brush of honey on the entry, harmonious with hints of pineapple and mango towards the rounded, plump finish. You could probably broach this straight from bottling.
Very ripe aromas of apricot and mirabelle. Opulent and sweet in the mouth, with an exotic honeyed quality partly buffered by spicy lift. Finishes with decent tannic spine and thrust.
