Score 86-88/100 · Drink 2016-2018, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2016

The 2015 Bourgogne Chardonnay "La Combe" had been bottled August 2016. It has a tightly wound nose that needed some coaxing, eventually offering wet granite and Granny Smith apple aromas, a touch of lychee in the background. The palate is very well balanced with good depth: plenty of lightly honeyed citrus fruit with a tang of spice on the straightforward finish. This is a delightful Bourgogne Blanc to enjoy over the next couple of years.
