Score 86-88/100 · Drink 2018-2025, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2016

The 2015 Meursault Très Vieilles Vignes was picked at 43 hectoliters per hectare between 13-15 September apparently with no botrytis or sur-maturité. Again, my problem is a lack of personality here - it does not "sing" Meursault. The palate is lightly honeyed on the entry, moderate acidity here, though again it needs more complexity and tension on the finish. Maybe that will be expressed once in bottle? I hope so.
