Bright lemon-yellow. Ripe peach and apricot dominate the nose. Yellow fruit flavors convey good freshness and come across as less aggressive than those of the Limozin if still a touch bitter. Not quite as warm or diffuse. (Colin notes that his Limozin vines are "mostly on SO4 rootstock, which gives riper aromas even if you pick early, but not higher alcohol.") Finishes quite dry and a bit disjointed.

The 2015 Meursault Village les Tessons was showing more vintage character compared to Bouzereau's other village crus, a brush of acacia honey and a hint of passion fruit developing in the glass. The palate is similar in style: a light honeyed tone on the entry, slightly lower acidity than say the Les Grands Charrons, gently building towards and easygoing, tropical-tinged finish. I can see this being a Meursault to broach in its youth rather than one that merits cellaring.
(this wine from 50-year-old vines was the first to finish its malolactic fermentation): Bright yellow. Slightly high-toned, pure, expressive aromas of yellow and white peach and orange oil. At once silky and fresh, with its yellow stone fruit flavors showing a note of anise. Boasts very good intensity but firm acidity gives the finish a faint hard edge.
