Score 94/100 · Drink 2025-2045, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2021

The 2015 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes is showing brilliantly, mingling notes of raspberries and dried flowers with hints of sweet spices and smoked meats. Medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, it's lively and precise, with fine tannins and a long, mineral finish. This is still half a dozen years away from showing all its cards, so readers with bottles in their cellar should try to continue to exercise patience.

Dark ruby. Treacly nose with some freshness on the nose. Very racy and muscly. Sassy and lively. Very intense. Quite showy but a pleasure giver. Rich yet not too sweet. (JR)

(from two parcels of vines, one 50 and the other 70 years of age): Bright red. Reticent aromas of purple fruits and violet, plus a chocolatey suggestion of reduction. Broad, plush and sweet but with lovely restraint to its tactile flavors of raspberry, mocha and dark chocolate. Bright acidity gives this wine a youthfully linear quality but there's plenty of creamy mid-palate fruit to support the substantial dusty tannins.

(from a .5 ha parcel; originally purchased in 1985 with Dr. Georges Mugneret and divided in half). An exuberantly spicy nose combines notes of black cherry with those of lavender, violet, sandalwood and orange pekoe tea. There is once again excellent volume and punch to the more mineral-inflected medium-bodied flavors that are at once opulent yet refined while offering really lovely depth and length on the well-balanced and firm finale.
