Bright, dark red. Complex, ripe nose combines musky raspberry, spices and sexy earth tones. Concentrated and juicy in the mouth, with good spicy lift and energy. Distinctly firm tannins are well buffered by fruit on the spicy, lingering finish.

The 2015 Marsannay Village has a lovely bouquet with joyful blue and black fruit, almost effervescent in style. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin. It feels compact at the moment, perhaps going into hibernation for the second winter during elevage, although there is impressive focus and an almost gourmand-like tincture right on the finish. This has a lot of potential - very well made Marsannay.
