Score 91-93/100 · Drink 2019-2032, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2016
The 2015 Echézeaux du Dessus Grand Cru has a composed, refined and sophisticated bouquet, a mixture of red and black fruit that is well defined and seems to blossom in the glass. I appreciate the sense of Pinoté here. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, hints of orange rind and brown spices unfolding towards a satisfyingly harmonious and quite intense finish that avoids any over-ripeness. It represents an excellent Echézeaux from the domaine and it should offer 12-15 years of drinking pleasure.
