Tasting notes
(from fruit harvested late and vinified with uncrushed berries and zero pigeage ): Bright, full red. Sexy aromas of liqueur-like raspberry, sandalwood and exotic flowers. Fat, thick and exotic on entry, with its red berry flavors lifted by wild herbs and exotic spices. Not the longest of these 2015 premier crus but probably the most immediately approachable, and utterly seamless in the mouth. Finishes with tongue-dusting tannins and surprising firmness. A rather extreme style in the context of this cellar but not at all flat.

Bright medium red. Confectionery nose combines strawberry liqueur, raspberry, rose petal and wild herbs, with some blacker fruits emerging with aeration. Not overly sweet in the mouth, but still with a slightly exotic candied quality to the flavors of red berries and peppery spices. This fruit was harvested after September 12 and vinified with whole berries and no pigeage , according to Saouma.
