Score 89-91/100 · Allen Meadows, Burghound

Moderate wood and reduction render the nose difficult to assess though there is good punch and delineation to the racy mineral-driven middle weight flavors that display a touch of acid tang on the otherwise lingering finish. This is certainly pretty though it’s not especially dense and it’s less refined than usual. This was frankly an odd showing relative to what I usually see with this wine. Dec 2016, www.burghound.com
