Tasting notes
The 2015 Marsannay Les Favières is a stunning wine, the generosity of the vintage and the precision typical of the site making for a magical combination. Opening in the glass with notes of raspberries, red berries, plums, spices, licorice and dried flowers, it's medium to full-bodied, strikingly deep and vibrant, with a long, searingly intense and undeniably mineral finish. More than just a great value, this is a simply brilliant wine that will amply reward extended bottle age.

A little indistinct on the nose and then unintegrated acidity. Harsh finish. (JR)
This is almost always one of Audoin’s best wines and so it is again in 2015 with its subtly oaked nose of fresh and layered black raspberry, violet and cassis aromas. The rich, full-bodied and mouth coating flavors possess plenty of dry extract that pushes the firm tannic spine to the background on the focused, powerful and dusty finale. This is good stuff though note that it will need at least 4 to 5 years of bottle age first. Dec 2016, www.burghound.com
