Tasting notes
The 2015 Bourgogne Roncevie has a pretty red cherry and cranberry scented bouquet with moderate definition. The palate is medium-bodied with fleshy dark berry fruit laced with cola and brown spices, leading to a finish with just a hint of tobacco on the aftertaste. Drink this now and over the next three or four years. Tasted at Flint Wines’ Arlaud retrospective.

Lively and racy. Correct though without as much personality as the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits. (JR)
The 2015 Bourgogne Roncevie has a perfumed, quite floral blackcurrant and raspberry-scented bouquet. The palate is sweet on the entry with candied fruit; saline in the mouth but it just feels a little abrupt on the finish.
(from vines in Gevrey). Reduction presently renders the nose difficult to assess but there is both good freshness and punch to the detailed and delicious flavors that terminate in a mildly rustic and warm yet reasonably refreshing finale. Dec 2016, www.burghound.com
