(bottled in January): Good medium red. Cherry and stone aromas, plus a hint of leather. Nicely concentrated for Bourgogne, offering good vinosity and a saline element to its flavors of raspberry and cherry. Finishes with firm tannins that should not get in the way of early pleasure.

The 2015 Bourgogne Pinot Noir has a very deep color for a generic red Burgundy. The nose is assertive with dark berry fruit, more black than red, rather disguising the Pinoté in the wine. The palate is chewy on the entry with firm tannin. It feels quite solid in the mouth but it needs to muster more finesse on the finish.
