(made in one two-year-old barrel and two that were older): Ripe scents of peach and spicy oak. A lovely, tightly coiled Referts: dry, savory and saline, with terrific inner-mouth energy and strength. Outstanding class here and best today on the sappy, palate-cleansing back end. "If I make just three barrels of a particular wine, even a single one-year-old barrel would bring too much oakiness," noted Ente.

0.22 ha. Lightly smoky nose. Not the intensity of his best Meursaults but very creditable. Racy and refined. Very pure with a hint of blossom and citrus. (JR)
