Score 92/100 · Drink 2017-2026, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Aug 2016
The 2014 Moulin A Vent Coeur de Vigneronne comes from 40-year-old vines, 20% whole bunch fruit and 80% destemmed, with daily pigeage and a 13-day maceration. Raised in used barrels for 11 months, it has a lovely bouquet with dark chocolate permeating the lush red berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied, very fresh in the mouth, nothing heavy here but there is abundant red berry fruit mixed with vanilla and creme fraiche. Stylish, modern and just very, very drinkable, enjoy this beautifully crafted Moulin A Vent over the next 6-9 years.
