Tasting notes
A somewhat closed nose is follwed by a very intense palate, laden with ripe dark red fruit flavours: plum, cherry, raspberry. Bright acidity cuts through the richness to the finish. Oct 2016

The 2015 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Suchots has a distinct marine influence on the nose, shucked oyster shells and iodine complementing the red berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, gentle but insistent grip, very good depth with the exuberance and precocity you expect from this vineyard. It should age with panache for 15-20 years. About the producer

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
