Tasting notes
Moderately saturated medium red. Subdued but pure aromas of strawberry, raspberry, cherry and flowers. Fine-grained, easygoing and dry, with red berry flavors accented by flowers and menthol. A moderately ripe wine with a firm but rather smooth finish; a touch of minerality contributes lift. Still, this is a bit dry-edged in the early going, with an herbal nuance emerging with air.

(this village parcel is located just beneath Les Saint-Georges but the soil is less rocky): Healthy dark red. Cherry, mocha, licorice and mint on the nose, plus a hint of smoked meat. Surprisingly fine-grained in the mouth, conveying a lovely floral sweetness to its red fruit flavors. This dense, fresh wine finishes with suave tannins, especially for Nuits-Saint-Georges.
