Score 89/100 · Drink 2019-2026, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2017
Bright red-ruby color. Reticent nose shows good medicinal reserve to the cherry and mineral aromas. More primary than the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, displaying very good definition to the juicy flavors of sweet cherry and menthol. Finishes with firm-edged tannins and solid structural support. The brisk fruit echoes on the lingering finish.

Bright, dark red. Vibrant, pure aromas of raspberry and minerals. A step up in intensity and precision from the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, showing good density and saline minerality to its vibrant red fruit flavors. This spicy, nicely balanced wine is an outperformer for its humble appellation.
