Tasting notes
Another polished, balanced and even elegant wine from Domain Tempier is the 2013 Bandol Tourtine (85% Mourvèdre, 10% Grenache and 5% Cinsault). This is medium-bodied, nicely concentrated and lively, with lots of wild herbs, sappy rosemary, spring flowers, and both red and black fruits. It shows the more elegant, cooler style of the vintage, yet still offers beautiful texture and length. Drink it anytime over the coming decade.

Round and treacly. Not really a core of ripe fruit. A bit stringy with tough tannins. (JR)
