Tasting notes
The 2015 Bellegrave is an attractive, mid-weight wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. Sweet tobacco, dried cherry, mint, licorice and incense add pretty aromatic top notes to this soft, open-knit Pomerol. All the elements are nicely balanced. The blend is 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc.

Medium garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Bellegrave (Pomerol) offers up crushed red and black cherries and mulberries notes with earth and dried herbs hints. Medium-bodied, firm and chewy with great energy and plenty of earth and red fruit flavors, it finishes long.
Rich and furry on the nose but comfortable and well integrated. Definite freshness here – with floral notes in abundance. Lots to flatter… (JR)
The 2015 Bellegrave is a pleasant, but somewhat rustic Pomerol. Sweet tobacco, menthol, dried cherry and licorice give the 2015 a distinctly earthy, savory profile, something that is accentuated by the high percentage of Cabernet Franc. The blend is 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc.
