Tasting notes
The 2015 Canon Pécresse is powerful, wild and savory. Dark cherry, grilled herb, leather and licorice infuse this potent, flavorful wine. From bottle, the Franc aromatics and burly tannins of this site are especially dominant today. The 2015 is a bit rustic, but in the right setting (at the dinner table), it will shine. The blend is 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. Tasted two times.

Medium to deep garnet in color, the 2015 Canon Pécresse is scented of baked black cherries and preserved plums with touches of balsamic, spices and tar. Medium to full-bodied, it's firm and chewy in the mouth with generous fruit and a long spicy finish.
A Stéphane Derenoncourt wine. Very sweet and round and herbal. But a bit brutal. (JR)
The 2015 Canon Pécresse is dark, ripe and voluptuous. Black cherry, plum, mocha and espresso are all pushed forward. This is a decidedly ripe Fronsac built on texture, with the Merlot very much dominant in the wine's personality.
