Tasting Notes
The Cabernet Franc in this really gives it form and muscle with lots of blackberry and fresh herb character. Stylish and impressive. Apr 2016, www.JamesSuckling.com

Showing some of the Ausone magic, but at a fraction of the price, this is a very tasty St. Emilion, with the Cabernet Franc bringing freshness and perfume to the blend. Subtly oaked and refreshing, it’s hugely drinkable stuff that’s all about pleasure. Apr 2016, www.timatkin.com, Drink: 2020-2025
Very dark purple. Light and appetising. Racy and fine. An athlete of a wine. Apr 2016, www.JancisRobinson.com, Drink: 2024-2034
Part of the Ausone stable. 40% Cabernet Franc in the blend from eight-year-old old vines planted at 12,000vines/ha. Fine, fragrant nose. Pure and enticing. Lovely blueberry notes on the palate. Really elegant and long on the finish. Best yet from this estate; delicious. Apr 2016, James Lawther MW, www.Decanter.com, Drink: 2020-2030
