Aged in a combination of older oak and stainless steel, this wine is all about focus and fruit purity. There’s some vanilla spice, but the tangy, taut, Sauvignon flavours have the upper hand here. Apr 2016, www.timatkin.com, Drink: 2017-2024

Exotic fruit expression at first, this maintains form and tension throughout. 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Sauvignon Gris aged in a mix of barrels and stainless steel vats, with lees stirring to fatten things up. Savoury, saline finish – a lovely wine. Apr 2016, Jane Anson, www.Decanter.com, Drink: 2017-2027

Lively and almost syrupy, it's so sweet! Flattering but not the purest rendition. Apr 2016, www.JancisRobinson.com, Drink: 2017-2020
