Tasting notes
A dense and pretty white with sliced apple, pear and pineapple. Full body and very fresh. Tangy and bright. Lovely energy to this. Mar 2016, www.JamesSuckling.com

It’s a rare vintage when Cos’ white wine is better than its red, but that’s the case here. This was picked late, but comes from a cool site. Saline, zesty and delicately oaked, with a whiff of sea breeze and a waxy undertone. Complex, satisfying stuff. Apr 2016, www.timatkin.com, Drink: 2017-2022
Very well-expressed 75% Sauvignon Blanc, 25% Semillon blend with zesty grapefruit acidity. Apr 2016, Steven Spurrier, www.Decanter.com, Drink: 2017-2020
The 2015 Cos d'Estournel Blanc is brisk and nicely focused throughout. This is a beautiful, classy wine endowed with lovely energy and overall tension. In this vintage, the emphasis seems to have been on maintaining freshness, which comes through in the wine's vivacity. Green orchard fruit, sage and mint add the closing shades of nuance.
