Tasting Notes
Very peppery nose, with an expansive bouquet of red and black fruit. This wine makes an immediate powerful impression with its dense, rich tannin and rich open-knit structure. A hedonistic palate of blueberries and plums remains balanced with a distinctly Pomerol note of meat, and is enormously pleasant to drink.

This is massive with so much ripe fruit and velvety tannins, yet it manages to remain fresh and balanced. Full body, round texture and a long finish. Best ever from here. Mar 2016, JamesSuckling.com

Dark crimson. Very heady and sweet on the nose. Maybe a little too low in acid for total refreshment, with very drying tannins on the end. Apr 2016, www.JancisRobinson.com, Drink: 2024-2036
