Tasting notes
The 2013 Vougeot 1er Cru les Petit Vougeot seems a little disjointed at first but affording it ten minutes in the glass, it melds together with broody dark berry fruit with undergrowth scents developing. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red berries, quite thick and assertive tannins, but sufficient fruit on the structured finish to keep everything nicely balanced.

Other owners: Bertagna, Roux, Hudelot Noëllat and Clerget. Very close to Amoureuses and Vougeot. Fine, polished nose. Racy and lovely cherry charming fruit and really racy and well sculpted. Really fine with masses of fruit. Great stuff. Long and flirtatious. Long. (JR)
