Tasting notes
Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2014 tasting, the 2014 Latricières Chambertin Grand Cru has quite a showy bouquet that manages to retain fine delineation and poise, very pure with black plum intermingling with cranberry and pomegranate scents. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, good depth and cohesion with a saline, structured finished that manages to reinforce its grand cru status. When Remy's wines hit the spot they are an absolute joy to behold. This is a joy to behold, a wine that surpassed all my expectations. Tasted September 2017.

Liqueur liveliness on the nose. Broad but not very taut or concentrated. I think Clos de la Roche is better value. A smudgy wine – not as fresh and precise as some. (JR)
