Tasting notes
Racy, juicy, lots of savoury fruit. Just a bit dry on the end. Grainy finish. Wait awhile. (JR)

Bright red with ruby tones. High-pitched perfume of crushed black cherry, violet and licorice reminded me a bit of Clos Vougeot. Juicy, floral wine with lovely acidity and saline minerality but an essential pliancy of texture. Can't match the 2015 version for velvety thickness but this is long on personality and will be very easy to drink in a couple years. Finishes with firm tannins and a touch of pepper.
Mid cherry red. Sweet, ripe cherry aroma. Like the Chambolle, pretty firm and chewy at this stage. Just a little stemmy and a bit tough. (JH)
(still a bit of malic acidity remaining):Good dark red. Purple fruits, spices and minerals on the nose. Juicy and penetrating, showing excellent cut to the black fruit and saline flavors. The tannins are firm but not hard. Should make a very good village wine.
