Superb definition to the fruit, that echoes Otago or Victoria. Sweetly spiced, very modern and user-friendly. Very finely ground tannin – drinkable now, with food. (RH)

The 2014 Savigny les Beaune les Bourgeots has a deep, quite introspective bouquet. It feels a little rustic with a touch of dried blood infusing the red berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied, again, a rustic mélange of black fruit with a big-boned and chunky, but appealing finish.
