The 2014 Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru has a very pure raspberry and wild strawberry nose with hints of undergrowth and cold stone coming through with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, redcurrant and cranberry fruit, spicier than the Griotte-Chambertin with impressive density and persistence on the finish. This actually shades the Clos-de-Beze at the moment. Apr 2016, www.robertparker.com
