The 2014 Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Gruenchers possesses one of the most exotic, richer set of aromatics from Jean-Marie this year -- kirsch and blood orange, a touch of soy in the background, an infectious feistyness. The palate is medium-bodied, fleshy and sweet, generous with layers of macerated red cherries and strawberry with a sorbet-like freshness on the finish. It's the kind of Chambolle you'll want to cuddle. Dec 2015, www.robertparker.com
