Spice and veginess on the nose with very jewelly, flattering fruit on the mid palate. Still chewy but should deliver eventually. (JR)

Bit funky but fun. Very different from most with distinctly ‘natural’ tendencies. (JR)

The 2014 Bourgogne les Grands Chaillots comes from domaine and purchased grapes, and is vinified at the domaine. It has an open, very cool, stony bouquet with blackberry and blueberry scents developing. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, and it is crisp and tensile with good backbone towards the masculine finish. This is impressive, if a little serious.
