The 2009 Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières 1er Cru is burnished gold in color. The intense nose offers scents of dried honey and dandelion, and struck flint scents blossom with aeration. The palate is clean and precise, like the aromatics, and disarming in terms of intensity, although initially it seems a little static on the finish. Yet after 20 minutes in the glass, it manifests more energy and you end up completely enamored. Nine hundred bottles produced. Tasted blind at Maison de Colombier in Beaune.
