Cool, fresh, correct Puligny by another name. Extremely appetising. QGV (JR)

The 2013 Bourgogne Chardonnay has a tightly-wound bouquet, quite tensile for a generic white Burgundy, with attractive undergrowth aromas. The palate has a saline touch on the entry, crisp acidity, with a touch of white peach and citrus lemon on the finish.
2 ha of well-placed vines in Puligny. 75% new oak. Quite rich and lively. Real Côte d’Or zest. It’s from Puligny, ‘une belle vigne’. Lots of grip and potential. VGV (JR)
