Tasting notes
Score 89-90/100 · Drink 2015-2018, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Feb 2015

The 2013 Rosso di Montalcino is fresh, vibrant and nicely perfumed, with a bit more acidity and aromatics to balance the typically dark Casanova fruit. Overall, the Rosso di Montalcino is a bit brighter than the Rosso di Casanova, but the two wines are not meaningfully different.
