Good full red. Musky raspberry, game, cola and brown spices on the nose; reminded me a bit of a Morey-Saint-Denis. Fat, sweet and chewy but with lively acidity--as well as some obvious CO2--framing the sweet raspberry fruit. This serious, saline wine finishes tactile and long, with lingering minerality.

(70% new oak): Healthy dark red. Very ripe aromas of black raspberry, black cherry and smoky minerals. Fat and sweet on entry, then quite firm in the middle, with pungent minerality and a saline quality giving the wine a distinctly vertical character. Finishes classically dry, with dusty but ripe tannins and very good grip.
