Score 85-87/100 · Neal Martin

The Haut-Carles 2014 has a ripe and candied bouquet with kirsch, redcurrant and vanilla notes, nicely defined, quite modern in style. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannin, a lot of grip and a slightly dry finish that needs to develop more persistence by the time of bottling. If it does, then this might be worth seeking out. eRobertParker.com.April, 2015
