The Château Le Prieuré 2014 has a commendable bouquet – perhaps conservative vis-à-vis its peers but there is complexity here and nuance, subtle tertiary notes filtering through the black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a succulent ripe entry. It is medium- rather than full-bodied, focusing on balance rather than power and it is all the better for it. This is a fine Saint Emilion that should age well once in bottle and it may merit a higher score at that point. eRobertParker.com.April, 2015
