Aged in 100% French oak, the 2005 Shiraz Clos Otto is deep garnet colored with touches of brick and has earthy, meaty and gamey aromas intermingled with tobacco, tea, menthol and dried fruits. Big and very full-bodied, the palate offers savory flavors of dried mulberries and Chinese dried plums, medium-firm, chewy tannins and lively acid through the long finish. Drink it now until 2025+.
